Today, Ulsi Manja, Minister of Justice of Albania, met with Albulena Haxhiu, Minister of Justice of Kosovo. The meeting focused on the strong ties between the two nations and their shared commitment to advancing justice. The meeting marked significant progress in strengthening cooperation between Albania and Kosovo.
The main topic of discussion was the technical agreement between the mediation chambers. The agreement is expected to be signed by the end of November. By establishing a new basis for cooperation, this agreement will allow mediation professionals in both countries to share knowledge and assistance.
The ministers also discussed the conclusion of an agreement with the Bar Associations, which would facilitate opportunities for lawyers from Kosovo and Albania. For the residents of both countries, this cooperation will guarantee improved standards in both civil and criminal cases and strengthen judicial relations.
In order to provide the people of Albania and Kosovo with full access to quality judicial services, both ministries are committed to a long-term, strengthened relationship.
